The FIRST Level Regulatory Examinations will cover the regulatory requirements of the legislation such as FAIS, FICA and other money laundering related legislation, and the General Code of Conduct and other subordinate legislation.
The Fit4FAIS courses towards the First Level Regulatory examinations will be delivered as one-day, class-room facilitated workshops. The purpose of these workshops will be to equip delegates with the necessary knowledge, skill, values and attitudes required to pass the FIRST Level Regulatory Examinations.
The course material and delivery thereof will be outcomes based and aligned with the Qualifying Criteria that identifies knowledge criteria and skills criteria applicable for the FIRST Level Regulatory Examinations. These criteria cover a large body of knowledge and this content will be delivered to delegates in a practical, easy to understand and relevant manner. Each delegate will receive a detailed training manual including a range of practical activities.
The study material will also include a section on how to complete a multiple choice questionnaire and case studies that are examined via multiple choice questions in order to assist delegates in their preparation for the examinations.
We are pleased to announce that we have confirmed that the Key Individual and Representative Regulatory Examination training offered by Fit4FAIS is acceptable to INSETA in terms of their requirements for the submission of training records recorded on skills development plans submitted by skills levy paying companies.
Essentially this means that costs incurred by INSETA registered companies for Fit4FAIS training can be recovered via the INSETA Workplace Skills Plan process.
