The new FAIS Fit & Proper regulations have introduced important regulatory examination requirements under the direction and management of the FSB.
A key aspect of these regulatory changes has been the establishment of Examination Bodies who will implement Regulatory Examinations for ALL key individuals and representatives in the financial sector at two distinct levels, beginning in 2010. These examinations present a significant challenge for the financial services sector.
Fit4FAIS delivers one-day facilitated workshops across South Africa to equip authorised key individuals and representatives with the necessary knowledge and skills to pass these FIRST Level Regulatory Examinations. We are pleased to announce that we have confirmed that the Key Individual and Representative Regulatory Examination training offered by Fit4FAIS is acceptable to INSETA in terms of their requirements for the submission of training records recorded on skills development plans submitted by skills levy paying companies.
Essentially this means that costs incurred by INSETA registered companies for Fit4FAIS training can be recovered via the INSETA Workplace Skills Plan process.
